The ''N'' Pendant Lamp

The ''N'' pendant lamp, the N stands for natural, is part of the Efden project - the smart home prototype that represented Romania at the international competition Solar Decathlon in 2014. The design of the lamp integrated the values of the Efden project: natural materials, sustainability, purity. Based on these principles, they created an object inspired by traditional Romanian wooden utensils and instruments. They wanted to portray these forms in the most natural composition that unites a light source and a suspension point. The ''N'' pendant lamp combines the artisanal logic of processing the material with the simplicity of a contemporary object.
